About Department of Physics

The Department of Physics at Ideal Arts and Science College was established in 2020 with the introduction of the UG course B.Sc Physics. The student’s strength sanctioned by the University of Calicut in the undergraduate course is 24. For the undergraduate students of B.Sc Physics, complementary courses are Mathematics and Computer Science. We have a well-equipped, spacious undergraduate lab that has all the necessary experimental instruments to fulfill the needs of the students to acquire their scientific and experimental skills.

Mission:

• To impart quality education both in theoretical and experimental physics through effective Teaching Learning processes.
