About Dept. of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics was established in 2010 with Mathematics as one optional subject for BSc. The department aims at providing opportunities for students to explore areas of mathematics outside the classroom and to enhance inter-student communication and cooperation. The goal is to enable students to express mathematical ideas more creatively and to develop their talent while making them confident, capable, and responsible human beings. Education is taught at the general level from the first year to the third year of the undergraduate level. The strength of students offering education is continuously increasing, with a high percentage of students successfully passing at the university examination.

Mission

The mission of the mathematics department is to provide an environment where students can learn and become competent users of mathematics and mathematical applications. Moreover, the department will contribute to the development of students as mathematical thinkers, enabling them to become lifelong learners, continue to grow in their chosen professions, and function as productive citizens.
